With a Masters Degree in Education from Queens College, City University of New York and experience as an elementary school teacher, I became a Director of nursery schools and day care centers in New York City. As time went on I became especially interested in working with and counseling families, parents, and individuals.
I graduated from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work, Yeshiva University in 1987 and opened a private psychotherapy practice and also began teaching in the Social Sciences Department of the Borough of Manhattan Community College, City University of New York. In 1989 I began working in the Adoption Department of the New York Foundling.
